Death Summary: On August 9, 2008 Todd Bachman, his wife Barbara Bachman, and their Chinese tour guide were stabbed by a knife-wielding man in a totally unprovoked attack. Todd Bachman died as a result from his stab wounds; the other two were severely wounded.
After this stabbings the attacker, 47-year-old Tang Yongming of Hangzhou, leapt to his death from a 130ft high balcony on the Drum Tower.
Who was Todd Bachman : Bachman was a horticulturalist and CEO of Bachman's, a Minneapolis-based garden and floral company. He was the father of American athlete Elisabeth Bachman and the father-in-law of Hugh McCutcheon, the men’s volleyball coach.

If Todd Bachman had been a “committed Christian”, his guardian angel most likely would have been sent to secure his person and sponsor his inheritance of salvation. It seems to me that this attack was a targeted takedown and disposal of evidence, executed along the line of a JFK assassination plot. The selected assailant/assassin, Tang Yong-Ming, was dispatched to terminate an undesirable obstacle to the agenda of the forces of darkness. In this case, the patsy to take the fall for the higher-ranking culprits had killed himself in a deadly fall. So, this execution wasn’t really random at all, but was a mortal strike bidden by the dark side, with Satan at the top pulling the strings.
Interesting, but I think, as you say, a wide margin of error. Another ptnaotiel problem may be in that the ideology measure is based on the ideology of the endorser, not of any issue specific legislation. Endorsers choose their candidate for all sorts of reasons, not all of them ideological. Who is more likely to win, likability, momentum, common sense, religion, etc not necessarily just ideology. So, an interesting way to peg the ideology of the presidential candidates, but with ptnaotiel for wide inaccuracy.
