I've hoped soupy would never die. He broke the tension in our household many times. My sister and I would be able to get away from our parents arguments to "live in Soupy Sales world" on tv. I adored his spontanious jokes and silly pals. It was vaudville for kids who never knew what vaudville was! The pie and the face, the jokes from the 20's-30's as well as the more current comments made us very happy. It put the laugh in our day. Thanks soup...God gave us you so we could feel the world was a happier place than reality. God's speed, I hope to meet you in Heaven some day! Better late than never…
