I grew up on Disney. My parents took me to Disneyland when I was only 6 months old. I worked as an apprentice for a summer and loved every minute. I have always wanted to work at Disney in the animation dept. Mr Roy Disney, not only did you inspire artists, you inspired a nation. You will be missed.

I have only recently seen this, and it breaks my heart. I was brought up with Disney, and i have been to both Disneyland’s, the one in Florida, and the one in France.

I met Roy at Buena Vista Studios in Burbank at his office. Barbara his assistant was so kind.
We had an mutual investment in Esprit Racing Yachts in San Diego. I have met Presidents and been to the White House but was never more impressed with anyone, he was kind and looked just like Walt. Really I was in awe. We lunched in the commissary and it was like a dream for a man who grew up looking forward to the “E” ticket God bless you Roy.
