   I had my picture taken with Rocky in NJ in 1959 at the opening of a new ACME mkt at the time. It was near Asbury Park & it was such a thrill to meet him as I was a big fan. He was very gracious.

    I have always been drawn to Rocky Marciano ever since I was five years old my father gave me a poster that someone gave him of Rocky. I remember my father telling me this is the best fighter that ever lived. Put it in your room and I’ll hang it up. That poster inspired me and as I got older I was able to do my own research and my father was right. I was so inspired that I became a fighter myself. In fact everyone always told me I look just like Rocky Marciano and when my son was born he was born on Sept 1,2007. I could not be more proud.

    They said he fought 2nd class fighters to achieve that undefeated record. I don’t think so. Look at the picture of him fighting Jersey Joe Walcott when he almost took his head off his shoulders. A powerful puncher and only at 180lbs Didn’t even belong in the heavyweight division
