Aortic Dissection

Death Summary: Richard T. Biggs died suddenly in his home from complications stemming from aortic dissection. He is survived by his wife and two sons.

Who was Richard Biggs : Biggs is probably best known for his roles on Days of Our Lives and Babylon 5.

He attended the University of Southern California on a scholarship, studying theatre. After he graduated he landed the role of Dr. Marcus Hunter on Days of Our Lives, a character he would play from 1987 – 1992.

Two years later Biggs got the role of Dr. Stephen Franklin on the science fiction series Babylon 5, he would play that character from 1994 – 1998.

    I was in shock when I found out today of the passing of a great talent. Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Biggs, but I enjoyed watching him on both Days and B5. He will be missed by those who knew him. My prayers are with his family.
