Death Summary: Pausch died from pancreatic cancer at his home in Chesapeake, Virginia. They had recently moved to Chesapeake so that his wife and children would be near family after his passing.

Who was Randy Pausch : He was a professor of computer science, human-computer interaction and design at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pausch was also a best-selling author who received worldwide acclaim for his "The Last Lecture" speech on September 18, 2007.
