Paula Goodspeed

Death Summary: Paula Goodspeed’s body was found in her car near the Los Angeles home of Paula Abdul on November 12, 2008, she had apparantly commited suicide.
Jeff Ballard, a representative for Abdul, said that she was “shocked and saddened” by Goodspeed’s death.
Carrie Underwood and Diana DeGarmo took a moment to reflect and show respect for Paula Goodspeed. DeGarmo went on to say, “To hear that something like that has happened makes you very scared as a celebrity of some sort, because we all [like to get all dressed up for events like the CMAs] — it's all glitz and glamour — but it's things like that that people don't normally get to know; it's also a double side of celebrity stardom. I think that's just a terrible, terrible tragedy and I feel for the person that was out in front of her home, for her family, and especially for Paula, because she's a lovely person and I can only imagine what she's going through.”

Even though she had no singing ability, she gained semi-stardom through Youtube. Goodspeed claimed that her audition videos had been seen over a million times.
Goodspeed didn’t hide the fact that she was a huge Paula Abdul fan, and the two women became fast friends, keeping in touch well after he audition process was over.

to the family of mrs. goodspeed every day a life is lost and every day familys suffer and have to deal with the tragity of a lost love and my heart goes out to the familys of mrs.goospeed and she will be rememmberd thruogh out many yeas all though she was an idol contestant she won me over by her drive and ambition to keep suceeding at her dreams and her passion for singing she is a down to earth person and she will be missed may she r.i.p and god bless the family of a insperational woman
