Death Summary: Patrice O'Neal died at 7:00 AM from complications after his stroke on Octber 19th.

Patrice is survived by his wife, Vondecarlo; his step daughter Aymilyon, sister Zinder, and his mother Georgia. The family wishes to thank all of the fans and friends who have expressed an outpouring of love and support for Patrice these past weeks. We ask that you please respect the family’s request for privacy at this difficult time."

Who was Patrice O’Neal : O'Neal was a stand-up comedian, radio personality, and actor. He was known for his confrontational style, often times he would play couples against each other.

Primarily a stand-up comic, O'Neal made his Def Comedy Jam debut in 2007. Later he performed on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Late Show With David Letterman, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He also had several half-hour specials on Showtime, HBO, and Comedy Central. In 2006 he joined Opie and Anthony's Traveling Virus Comedy Tour, soon after he became a regular on their radio show.

On October 26, 2011, it was announced that O'Neal had suffered a stroke. This was sort of a shock, as O'Neal had just performed at the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen Septetmber.

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appeal. I must say you’ve done a excellent job with this. Additionally, the blog loads super fast for me on Chrome. Superb Blog!

  22. Chris Zizzo Says:

    Fame called, but too late.
    Now you’re famous.
I liked it better when you weren’t so famous, but still alive.
Sorry you didn’t get to do all the stuff you wanted to. What were your opinions on reincarnation? Give it a shot. We all miss you.

God could not be happy with his vulgar style of humour. I’m sorry.

  28. Tori Says:

While I was not familiar with Patrice’s comedy, from reading some of the kind thoughts expressed about him it is evident that he was dearly loved and is truly missed. Despite our lot in life, we are all children of God and in need of His love and forgiveness. May the reassurance that death is God’s enemy and He will soon get rid of death (1 Corinthians 15:26) and bring our loved ones back to life (Acts 24:15) bring you comfort during this time of grief.
