Death Summary: Nick Adenhart was driving a silver Mitsubishi, with three other people in the car when a minivan collided with them. Two of the passengers were pronounced dead at the scene, while Adenhart and the other were taken to the University of California, Irvine Medical Center.

The driver of the minivan fled the scene after the accident, but was later apprehended and held on suspicion of felony hit and run.
Who was Nick Adenhart : Adenhart was a pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
He was drafted in the 14th round (413th overall) in the 2004 MLB Draft. In four short years he became the Angels’ best overall prospect.
His last appearance took place on April 8, 2009, the night before his death. It was a no-decision contest.
