Cause of Death:
Undisclosed (at this time)

Death Summary: While Nate Dogg's death is undisclosed, he has suffered from a few strokes throughout the years.

Who was Nate Dogg : Nate Dogg was a west coast rapper who came up around the same time as Snoop Dogg, and Warren G. He collaborated on many songs which were featured on the Billboard charts.

Nate Dogg was born in Long Beach, California and got his start singing in churches where his father was a pastor. In Long Beach, he became friends with Snoop Dogg, Warren G, RBX, and Daz Dillinger. At the age of 16, Nate Dogg dropped out of school. He subsequently joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served for three years.

After his service to the marines, Nate Dogg started a rap group with his friends Snoop Dogg and Warren G. The trio was called 213. Their demo tape was listened to by a now famous producer named Dr. Dre, who heard their mix at a house party.

Nate Dogg caught his big break when he was featured on the now famous hip-hop album, The Chronic. After the success of the album, Nate Dogg signed with Death Row Records in 1993. Nate Dogg was famous for many collaborations with other artists. He was featured in Warren G albums, and also sung in some Tupac songs as well. His first solo album wouldn't release until 1998, and was titled, 'G-Funk Classics, Vol. 1&2'. He followed this release with an album in 2001, titled 'Music and Me'. This album found its way to #3 on the Billboard hip-hop charts in 2001.

In 2002, Nate Dogg was arrested on charges linked with firearms and drug usage. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to probation and community service. A year later, he produced a self-titled album. Due to a number of delays, 'Nate Dogg' wasn't released until 2008.

In 2007, Nate Dogg suffered from a stroke which was initially reported as a heart attack. He was admitted to a rehab facility, and was expected to make a full recovery. Then in 2008, he suffered from a second stroke later in the year. While his official death is undisclosed, it is believed to be stroke related.

May the following words from God’s Word offer comfort and hope for the future: At John 5:28, 29, Jesus reveals, “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” By means of God’s Kingdom, for which we pray (Matthew 6:10), God will permanently remove death, resurrect our loved ones, and restore our bodies and this earth back to their originally-designed perfect condition. Truly, a God of Love.
