Farewell Mam’ Miriam, your passing came as a shock as we still hoped you would be around for a bit longer. You have earned your stripes for your work representing your native South Africa, Africa and the world. I have no doubt that your ancestors will welcome you with open arms and say “usebenzile” - you have done well! May your soul rest in peace.
