Death Summary: Lynn Redgrave was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002, and had a mastectomy in January 2003. She finally succumbed to her illness and passed away at the age of 67.
Who was Lynn Redgrave : Redgrave was from a very well-known British family of actors. She made her theatrical debut in 1962. She won a New York Film Critics Award for her role in the 1966 film Georgy Girl, the role also landed her nominations for both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe.
In 1967 Redgrave left theatrical acting and made her Broadway debut, and soon after her small screen debut on Whatever Happened to Baby Jane. She returned to films in 1996 with a role in the movie Shine.

I had no idea Lynn had passed. Life has been so hectic the past few years, with my mother losing her battle last may with brain cancer. Miss Redgrave was a favorite acctress of mine. I watched anything I knew she was going to be in. I watched her in interviews and found her to be a wonderful spirit with a quick wit. You will be missed terribley Miss. Redgrave!
Lyn came from a famous English family of actors to whom she tryed to live up to. She was more famous later in life. I thought she was great
I met her once over the phone she called a state agency and I took her call she was so pleasant and now god has yet another angel in heaven watching over all who she loved. god bless you Lynn Redgrave god bless you always
