Who was Loriot : Vicco von Bülow, more commonly known under the pseudonym Loriot, was a German cartoonist, humorist, actor, writer and film director. He was probably best known for his cartoons, his two movies Ödipussi and Pappa ante Portas, and his sketch comedy show Loriot.

Loriot was noted as taking the everyday mundane items and turning them into comedic gems, such as eating spaghetti, having breakfast, buying presents. He was awarded the lifetime achievement honor from the German Film Academy in 2009 for his body of work.
