She got her start in 1944 by playing for the Minneapolis Millerettes. Throughout her career, she played for the Fort Wayne Daisies, Racine Belles and Grand Rapids Chicks. She retired in 1965, and became the spokesperson for the Women's National Adult Baseball Association.
