My heart sunk when I heard the news this morning while getting ready for work. I had the opportunity to have my path cross Kenny’s when we both worked as hairstylists for the same company. We worked beside each other and he would always have me laughing. I was so happy to know that he was able to live his dream out of being a successful musician. But now it seems i’m crying…crying over you. My heart goes out to his family and the people who’s lives he touched.
I will miss Kenny very much
Kenny was my daugthers vocal teacher.
he was a very special person.
Kenny - every day you showed us all your amazing bright light. You constantly shone with talent, warmth and grace, and shared your special gifts with everyone who crossed your path. You will remain ever beautiful in our memories, and the world will be a lesser place without you. But you will shine on in my memory forever as a true friend and special talent.
It was such a sad day when I heard the news about Kenny, he will be sadly missed. he was such a sweet & talented person. He always had a smile for everyone, even if you hadn’t seen him for a while he never forgot you, he was a very funny guy always made you laugh. His music will play on forever.
Kenny you will be in our hearts & thoughts forever. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.
I have a lot of great memories of Kenny from when I was a kid, and I’ll always remember how proud I was to tell people I knew him over the years. He was an amazing friend to my father and our family will miss him dearly.
I met Kenny back in the 70’s when he was with The Deserters and they played at a bar that I went to. I’d see him over the years whether he was playing with Platinum Blonde or by himself. He was always friendly to me. I know he would have met a lot of people so I was surprized that he remembered me. I hadn’t seen him the last few years but I had never forgotten him and had often wondered what he was up to. He was such a nice and funny guy. I still have a hard time knowing I will never get the chance to see him again.
You will be missed by many Kenny. RIP.
Only the mountains last forever… Chief Joseph
