Who was Jim McKay : Jim McKay who's real name was James Kenneth McManus, was a sports news broadcaster, most famous for his work on ABC's Wide World of Sports. He hosted this program from 1961 to 1998.

McKay had covered Horse Racing as well as Golf tournaments and the Indianapolis 500 among other events.

He was also the founder of the horse race series Maryland Million Day.
