Nelson was known for many popular puppets within these shows, such as: Count von Count (Sesame Street), Sgt. Floyd Pepper, Dr. Julius Strangepork, Lew Zealand, Robin the Frog, Camilla the Chicken, and Uncle Deadly. Nelson also pupeteered and voiced the character of Emmet Otter.
