Jeff Healey

Born: 1966-02-25 - Died: 2008-03-02
Cause of Death:
Cancer

Death Summary: Healey was 41 years old when cancer claimed his life only month before the release of his first rock album in 8 years (he had taken a turn to Jazz).

Healey at actually defeated cancer once before after losing his eyes to it, but after nearly 38 years, he developed Sarcoma (a supportive tissue cancer) which ended up killing him.

Who was Jeff Healey : Norman Jeffrey Healey was a Canadian blues-rock musician who lost his eye sight when he was only 8 months old.

He formed his first band when he was seventeen and rocked out in his trademark guitar-across-the-lap style for many years, eventually being discovered by Stevie Ray Vaughn and earning several hits such as "Angel Eyes" and the Grammy-nominated "Hideaway".

Action movie fans will always remember him as Cody, the musician friend of Patrick Swayze's Dalton in the 80s action slugfest Roadhouse.

The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as a lot as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I basically thought youd have some thing interesting to say. All I hear can be a bunch of whining about something that you simply could fix when you werent too busy looking for attention.
