Helmut Haller was a well-known German football player from Ausberg, Germany, who primarily played for Italy. Haller is mostly known for helping Italy reign during the 1966 World Cup; however, England won the game.
Apart from Italy, Haller also won various football championships with Bologna and Juventus. Retiring from football playing in 1979, Haller coached various amateur-level teams in preparation for their World Cup championships.
