I worked with George at KTTV and we had many meals after the news at the Brown Derby where George will regail me with his stories about early Hollywood, especially his encounter with Mae West. Sad to hear of his passing. George was a good man who led a very interesting life.

Brother Putnam always treated me with friendliness and respect. I was merely the son of one of his employees, but I also knew him from his membership in the LDS Church in Chino.

A great Patriot and decent man, I look forward to a reunion in the hereafter.

I just learned you made this transition. I can remember you in the mid 1900′s when I was a child and listened to you on radio before we left California in 1995. You were the most honest news commentator I have ever listened to. I know you still fill the universe with your vibration, but I will miss you.
