Who was Gary Coleman : Gary Coleman, most famous for his role as Arnold Jackson on the sitcom Diff'rent Strokes had a dramatic and tumultuous life. He was born in Zion, Illinois and was adopted early in life. He suffered from a rare congenital kidney disease which stunted his growth, and provided a child like appearance. Coleman would require two kidney transplants, in 1973 and 1984 to survive.
The disease hindering Coleman didn't stop him from having a successful acting career during his child years. His first appearances were on The Jeffersons, and Good Times. He would also appear later in a pilot for an updated version of The Little Rascals.
Coleman's big break would come later on in 1978, with the show Diff'rent Strokes. He was given the part of Arnold Jackson, who was adopted by a wealthy widower. The show lasted 8 seasons (1979-1986). It's within the show, that Coleman's character uttered the phrase that grew to mainstream popularity - "What'choo talkin' 'bout, Willis?". The phrase would catch on in popularity, and is still used in entertainment to this day.
Unfortunately, after Diff'rent Strokes, Coleman's life would take a turn for the dramatic and financially burdened. In 1989, Coleman sued his adoptive parents and former manager for misappropriation of trust funds. He would later win, netting him $1.28 million. Even with the earnings of the case, he would file for bankruptcy in 1999.
The drama would continue into his married life, after being wed to Shannon Price. They were married in 2007. Between that time and now, there were multiple accounts of domestic dispute, and disorderly conduct, put on both Price and Coleman. Their troubles would eventually lead to an appearance on the small screen, by way of 'Divorce Court'.

My deepest condolecence tothe Coleman’s family. He made everyone laughed with all of his jokes when he was a little boy. Too bad that his life had to end this way. He will be always remember.
