    I died under house arrest in my own home after being tortured and told to recant all of my scientific findings by the Roman Inquisition. When I finally died, I was blind and alone, still being watched by the guard of the Inquisition. However, after my death, my research gave life to science and mathematics as you know it today, so I don’t feel so bitter looking down at the world today.
