   what a terrible loss for adults and children alike . it was an end of something wonderful when mr. rogers passed . i greww up watching him on t.v. and watched him later when my sons were born. i will miss him terribly . thank god for reruns.

   I was already an adult when Mister Rogers first aired, but I still enjoyed his programs because of his sincerity. He loved the children off camera as well as on. Who will we call now when there is a disaster that frightens the children?

    My Dad died coming home from work when I was 3. After that everyday mom would sit with me to watch Mr. Rogers. He was a comfort, a familiar friendly routine and was as welcome in our home as any family member. Thank goodness today’s kids can still visit your neighborhood and enjoy the make-believe while learning beautiful traditional values. God bless you, Mr. Rogers. I’m sure you’re doing something wonderful for the little children in Heaven.

    What a terrible loss. I am almost 22 now but when I was younger I was a really huge fan of MR.ROGERS and I never knew that he passed away. When I saw this it really shocked me.

    Here was a man who taught us manners, graciousness, to be kind to each other and how to be an adult…something that is sorely lacking in today’s society, even from parents who grew up with him. His legacy is that he was a beacon in the depths of every child who was a latch-key kid and those who were truely lacking in any guidance from anyone, but him. Keep a watchful eye on us all.

    i remeber watching that show when i was young i got so excited when it came on i wouls always sing with him and act like i was putting my shoes on…it wasnt till 2004 i heard of his death i was heart broken….i love and will always miss you mr.rogers
