Who was Frank De Felitta : Frank De Felitta was an author best known for novels Audrey Rose and The Entity, both of which were adapted as horror movies. His other books included Oktoberfest, Sea Trial, Golgotha Falls, Funeral March, and L'Opera Italiano.

He was also a producer and director. He won Emmy nominations for his documentaries, a Peabody Award and several Writers Guild nominations. As a director, he helmed the horror movie Dark Night of the Scarecrow.

De Felitta was a pilot in World War II prior to his writing career.
