Our hearts go out to Elizabeth’s children and her family. God has called his angel back home.
Rest in Peace, Elizabeth. My heartfelt prayers are with your children and John. You have been their rock and you will continue to do so even in death. As I walk in the annual Komen 3-Day for the Cure in 2011, I will remember your strength and persistence to beat this horrible disease. As your contemporary, I am awed by your fortitude as you faced adversity and still remained so honorable. Be at peace. You have and will continue to serve as an amazing role model for so many women.
