Watching the Giant games on radio will never be the same without Dick Lynch. I met him at Gallagher's I think in 1991 when WNEW use to do a show from there on Monday nights. He talked with me about the Giants and Notre Dame. Two great topics. I remember the half time interview he did with Dan Quayle during a Monday night football game. It was a pretty good interview. Dick Lynch was a New Yorker, that is not a bad thing to say about a person. Don't forget he scored the only touchdown in a game against Oklahoma when he was playing for Notre Dame when the fighting Irish beat Oklahoma 7-0 snapping the Sooners 49 game winning streak.

A loving man, a helluva cornerback, a great radio talent, but above all, a beloved and loving husband and father. The world is a quieter, sadder place.
