Death Summary: David Carradine was found dead in a hotel room at the Park Nai Lert Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.
The initial police investigation stated that Carradine had hung himself with a cord from the hotel curtains. (This was never confirmed)
UPDATE: Chuck Binder, Carradine's manager, told TMZ "he firmly believes Carradine did not take his own life -- nor does he think David died accidentally". Binder went on to say that Carradine's hands were tied behind his back rendering him immobalized.

TMZ also states that the Bangkok hotel has been slow handing over video surveillance to the cops.
Who was David Carradine : Carradine was an actor best known for his role of Kwai Chang Caine in the 1970s television series Kung Fu.
Eventhough he was known as David, he was actually born John Arthur Carradine in Hollywood, California in 1936. He had one brother, Bruce Carradine, and two half-brothers Keith and Robert Carradine.
Caradine got his big break in the 1970's with the television series Kung Fu (as well as the sequels in the 80's and 90's) where he played the main character of Kwai Chang Caine.

Some of his other notable roles included the lead in Shane (the 1960's television series based on the 1949 novel), a gunslinger in Taggart, Tempus on the cult hit Charmed, Conrad on Alias and he even made an appearance on Lizzie McGuire.
Carradine also played the role of Bill in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill, Vols. 1 & 2.
In 2006 Caradine became the spokesman for Yellowbook, the commercials were very reminecscent of the old Kung Fu televison show.
More recently Carradine had worked with the Jonas Brothers and had plans to work with Miley Cyrus in 2009. His last movie role was a 100 year-old Chinese gangster in Crank: High Voltage.

David Carradine was a great talent. He will forever be Caine in Kung Fu to me. My condolences to his family.
Police initially said they suspected suicide, though Carradine’s associates had questioned that theory.
Police Lt. Gen. Worapong Chewprecha told reporters that Carradine was found with a rope “tied around his penis and another rope around his neck.”Erotic asphyxiation
“The two ropes were tied together,” he said. “It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not or he died of suffocation or heart failure due to an orgasm.”
Thai police completed an autopsy on Carradine Friday but so far have not released the results.
Wikki’s aleady updated Cause of death as Erotic asphyxiation.
Guess he got the thrill of coming and going at the same time.

RIP David I grew up with Kung Fu program, you will truly be missed.
Kung Fu was unique for its time, David C. brought an elegent art to it not commonly shown. I grew up with Kung Fu and a fan of David C. in this role. He was an inspiration and I am sure would prefer to be remembered for his life rather than the manner of his death. The inner Chi endures and will go on forever.
Peace.
