i was 15 in 1967, working for the NZ promoter who toured them. great guy, awesome frontman, our group played many of their hits too. so sad they never cracked the usa.

i nvever saw DDDBMT, if they came to Australia, they didnt come to my home town, but i loved them, I have every single (45′s) and of course CD’s… I loved them, my favourite was Last night in Soho, and Legend of Xanadu.. R.I.P Dave xxxxx

i saw him many times in swansea grand in the sixtys show my children had a photograph of him and the group he will be sadly missed in the grand swansea a great singer iv just ben listening to the legend of xanadu now great stuff and im of to the sixtys concert tonight miss you moira
