Death Summary: On March 10, 2010 TMZ, along with KABC-TV, KTLA-TV, reported that Corey Haim was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank where he was later pronounced dead at 3:30 a.m. PST.
According to the LAPD Haim died of an apparent drug overdose, possibly accidental.
Who was Corey Haim : Corey Haim was an actor, most notably being a teen idol during the 1980s. Some of his more popular roles include The Lost Boys, License to Drive, Dream a Little Dream and Lucas.
Haim co-starred with Corey Feldman numerous times during his career, the pair even garnered the nickname "The Two Coreys". Coincidentally this was also the name of their reality television show on A&E, which ran from 2007 to 2008.
He also suffered from a well documented drug addiction.

You were so much to me and many others growing up and even into adulthood. As we watched you today, knowing you as a child, our hearts broke for you watching what you were going through. Knowing that you were so out of reach to all of us who wanted so deeply to help you. Most of us having someone close to us struggling with the demons you yourself had. I know that you are gone and that these words will never reach you…but each of us needs to tell everyone out there that you were loved despite anything horrible you think you’d done. We loved you our whole lives and for me, I feel today that I have lost a family member and will miss you more than you will ever know. You never did know the amount of love everyone felt for you. I’m so sorry that you were todays news…that you went out the way you did. You wouldn’t have wanted that. I met Corey in Hollywood CA while on duty as a deputy sheriff, he was a very nice, calm, friendly person, he will be missed greatly. The torment of Hollywood has become to overbearing for everyone, and must be investigated. We should not tolerate the movie business throwing child actors under the bus without being judged accordingly.
To Corey Feldman, my sympathy, you were a great brotehr to him.
Corey, you were my childhood crush which continued into adult hood as I watched you make a comeback for yourself in “The Two Corey’s” The Lost Boys II” and “Crank 2.” I know you longed to have that normal life that you were robbed of when you were a child actor as your life moved way too fast in the wrong path. I will forever remember all your movies and will show them to my kids so they will have the privledge of watching a beautiful, funny, and talented actor which is a rare find these days. R.I.P Corey and my condolenses to his mother and Feldman.

My heart goes out to the family for the loss of Corey. To his parents, I can identify with your pain, because I too lost my only son at a young age. What comforts me is knowing that death is not God’s purpose for us. Going all the way back to the Garden of Eden, when he created Adam and Eve he gave them in a perfect start in a paradise of pleasure. They were perfect and not under the law of sin; yet because of their disobedience they lost out on their paradise home; they became subject to sin, and eventually they died just as God said they would. Saddly, they passed sin and death on all of their offspring; including us. This is the reason why we all die today. Romans 5:12 says, “And that is why through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because they had all sinned.” Fortunately, for us Jehovah God took steps to get us out of that situation by sending his beloved son, Jesus, to pay the ransom price to buy back what Adam lost for us. 1st Corinthians 15:22 tells us, “For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ, all will be made alive.” Jehovah has given his son Jesus all authority to ressurect the dead. John 5:26-29 says: “For just as the father has life in himself, so he has granted also to the Son to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to do judging, because Son of man he is. “Donot marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out; those who did good things to a ressurection of life.” So one day you can see your Corey come to life again; a promise we can count on from the God who cannot lie. Titus 1:2. He always fullfills his word. Isaiah 55:11. May your hearts be comforted over the loss of Corey, and keep reading the bible, because it holds all the answers to life. May you be comforted and blessed by our loving heavenly father.
