I am 17 and I love to listen to his music and how we played it. The greatest ever. To never be forgotten.
My Husband took me to see Conway years ago,he knew he was my favorite singer in the world,I just loved him so much. We also went to Twitty City , I was able to have a picture made with him and I treasure that picture so much still today, That was the best day of my life. I still thank my husband for that best day. Rest in Peace conway Twitty. May God be with your family always. Your music will live on forever in my heart.
When I was a young man growing up, I grew up with country music. I grew to love his work. later in life I was working as a security officer traveling with a now gone Crabtree security. they worked the county fairs. It was with this job I got to meet the real man and was able to have a conversation with Conway(Harold). A genuine person he was. I will never forget the words of advice he gave me that day. It broke my heart later in life when I learned of his tragic death. I will never forget you Conway. You will always have a place in my heart.
there never be another conway twitty
I was on my senior trip in Branson when all this happened..we actually saw one of his last shows where he started telling all about his life. he said he had never spoken at concerts before becasue it was all about the music. I can’t help but wonder if he knew something was wrong..we were all devestated to say the least. we just loved conway twitty
I HAD THE CHANCE TO GO O CONWAY’S HOUSE RIGHT AFTER HE DIED. IT WAS SO SURREAL BEING IN THE GREAT CONWAYS’S HOME. I WAS TRYING TO MAKE IT IN COUNTRY MUSIC AT THE TIME AND HE WAS ALWAYS, ALWAYS A FAVORITE OF MINE. HIS SOULDFUL VOICE WAS A PLEASURE TO LISTEN TO. COUNTRY MUSIC LOST A GREAT PERFORMER WHEN HE DIED. I KNOW HE’S MAKING THE ANGELS SING WITH HIM IN HEAVEN. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL THOUGHT. TAKE CARE CONWAY. I LOVED THE MAN.
loved
I started to listen to Conway in 1962 what a legend, he was not given his rightful honors in my opinion. I continue to play his ol/and new songs to this day, what a set of pipes. The angles choir sure sounds better today since Conway is there. God Bless his family. A

wonderful singer, his sensitivity comes across in his songs. Died too young, but according to
John 5:28,29 he will be back. All my best to all those that loved him, always great to see and hear him on YouTube.
Conway was my dream. I seen him many times, had my picture taken with him at Twitty City in Tennessee. He was very dear to me and I will cherish the picture always. I have all his tapes, records and cd’s, shirts, books. He died on my anniversary and I cried like a baby, I felt like a part of me was gone. What else can I say except he was the greatest singer in my eyes…

I have enjoyed many years of your music, and am still listening today.
Conway was and still is the best. he knew how to sing and what to sing. I loved seeing him in concert. He was not one bit stuck up for he would shake your hand and snd speak to you. I have been to his grave with my husband and son we left red roses in the vase. I have also been to his home. I think it is a shame that it was sold.
Your always number one fan,
wanda

Conway, was the best of the best in country music. I will always be a big fan of that man.God really blessed him with a wonderful voice, & he used it to the fullest. take care his family, Joseph p murray.
Conway is my favorite singer of all time. Still I have his cd’s in my car and he is 50% of the music I still listen to. My husband took me to see him on many occasions and I think Conway was the only man my husband was jealous of. He could growl in my ear anytime. I remember the day he died and my husband and I was driving in the car and when I heard the radio announcement I started crying and just couldn’t get over that for a long while.

I was fortunate enough to attend one of Conway’s last concerts. It was performed at King’s Capri, owned by Bob King. (a very close friend of his) I shook his hand, put my arm around his shoulder and even had my picture taken with him. I will cherish this memory for the rest of my life!!!!!
The King’s Capri was a place that many a Country Legends began their career. Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins just to mention a few. The King’s Capri was located just north of Swifton on Rock-n-Roll Highway 67. It burned to the ground just a couple of years ago.
The world has lost a wonderful person in country music and as a family man. You are missed.
