Charles “Mask” Lewis, Jr.
Born: 1964-??-?? - Died: 2009-03-11Cause of Death: Car Crash
Death Summary: On March 11, 2009 Mask died in a high-speed car crash in Newport Beach, California. His Ferrari Modena collided with a 1977 Porsche then went on to hit a light pole. Mask was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the other car was arrested for “alcohol-related gross vehicular manslaughter”.

This was one dude that enjoyed life and had compassion for others.
His goal was to serve others as he never looked down on the individual or their circumstances. Mask was one person I wanted to meet, but now will never have the honor of doing so. Love to those he left behind.

As a fighter my heart goes out to the family of Charles. The man known as Mask was a living legend in his own right funny as hell and a marketing genius, his outlook on life was amazing and that never look back attitude was awe inspiring. We as fighters thank him for everything he did for the sport by helping make MMA what it is today. Thank you brother for everything you will be missed. Peace&and Respect. R.I.P. Mask

I will miss Mask! He was always there for anyone it didn’t matter if you were rich or poor. And I loved his crazy style. He will be missed dearly in my household. Even my kids are big fans. We love you Mask, hope to see you in heaven!
Mask was a true fighter and a fan as well as a buisness man he was a great inspiration to me and my friends as fighters and as friendship I will remember him as a true mma legand and Icon God bless u Mask and family and friends. Thank you and Tap Out

My husband and I were big fans of Tapout as we are of Ultimate Fighter and my husband Mark loved to watch the guys on TV and keep up to date with MMA, UFC etc fighting. We offer our condolences and know that he is in a happy place. Love to those left behind.
Charles “Mask” Lewis…Tapout’s best will be sorely missed! One quote on their clothing line that stands out to me is “Doubt Doesn’t Dictate Destiny…Decision Does” so read that…and think of what does it mean to you!

Charles ‘Mask’ Lewis Jr. did alot for mma before it became huge before the titos and chuck forest and helped alot of fighters he will be missed but the legacy will live on

Mask will be missed dearly in the Mixed Martial Arts world. He did so much for fighters,after the first time i seen tapout i got interested in mma and its because of mask. MAY HE REST IN PEACE
