Director Stephen Daldry was quoted as saying, "He was an adventurer and delight in the rehearsal room, who challenged and stretched every director he worked with. With his passing… we are beginning to lose the voices of a generation that shaped theater as we understand it today.”

Who was Arnold Wesker : Arnold Wesker was a British writer known most for his plays (of which he wrote 50). He also wrote four volumes of short stories, two volumes of essays, a book on journalism, a children's book, journalistic articles, poetry, and more.
