    Due to a death for one of the U.S Senators, Stevens was appointed to the position in 1968 by the Alaskan governor. After his appointment, Stevens will win his campaigns to be re-elected until his 2002 run.

    George Steinbrenner will go down in the history books as one of the most famous, and winningest owners in Major League Baseball history. Steinbrenner amassed 11 pennants and 7 World Series titles. Steinbrenner was born in Rocky River, Ohio, the son of Rita and Henry Steinbrenner II.
