Andrew “Boner” Koenig

Death Summary: Koenig was reported missing in February 2010 by his friends and family. He was last seen near a bakery in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on February 14th. According to his parents, Koenig had left behind evidence of his depression prior to going missing.
On February 25, 2010 his body was found by friends in Stanley Park in Vancouver. The Police later confirmed that it was indeed Koneig's body. During a press conference his father stated that his son had taken his own life.
Who was Andrew “Boner” Koenig : Koenig was a character actor, film director, editor and writer. He was the son of Walter Koenig, Pavel Chekov in Star Trek.
Between 1985 to 1989 Koenig had a recurring role on the ABC sitcom Growing Pains. On the show he played Kirk Cameron's character Mike Seaver's best friend, Richard "Boner" Stabone.

So sad to hear of Andrew’s passing,my son also committed suicide 10 days later. I am truly sorry and my sympathies go out to the family…he is at peace now..Go with God
