Death Summary: He was shot by Mark David Chapman. John was about to enter The Dakota when Chapman called him, when Lennon turned he was shot 5 times. Lennon was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Center were he died after losing a lot of blood.
On August 12th 2008, reports emerged that Mark David Chapman was denied parole for the fifth time.
